Living Room—Family Room
Whether you have a living room, family room, or great room (or all of the above), these spaces are used for gathering. They need to reflect that purpose. When you enter this space, you’ll want to look for a focal point. This could be a fireplace, bay window, standard window, or flat-screen TV. Perhaps you don’t have any of these. Create your own focal point. That could be a nice coffee table or an interesting piece of wall art or a sculpture. You might set a flowing plant or bouquet of flowers on a coffee table. It’s that focal point that photographers tend to look for when shooting your living space.
